Who are we and why should you entrust your project with us?

Dann Construction is a small construction company run by Kane Dann, a married father of 3 living in Plymstock, born and raised in Plymouth.

Kane grew up helping his father, a skilled and hardworking general builder on various projects. However, he didn’t get into construction straight from school and instead pursued other avenues and ended up working as a car salesman for a franchised dealership, it’s here his work ethic, friendly demeanor and positive attitude always shone through. So at the young age of 21, he ended up getting promoted to Sales Manager, resulting in him having an enormous amount of responsibility on his shoulders.

Fast forward to 2020, tired of the motor trade and wanting to return to his roots of getting stuck in and hands on Kane decided to exit the dealership and became a subcontractor for a construction company based in South Brent. Helping build bespoke, high quality homes as part of a small team, whilst taking on much smaller, independent projects on the side and completing them in the evenings and on weekends, a workload most would consider crazy! But doing something he loved meant he never felt like it was work.

After 4 years of projects purely from recommendations Kane decided it was time to put a name on the business and “Dann Construction” was created. Having learned so much from his time as a subcontractor and being forever grateful to those who have helped him along the way it was a bitter-sweet moment but something he always knew would happen one day.

You can trust Dann construction to complete your project to the best of our ability because that’s who we are, that’s what we’ve always done and it’s what we will always do. We’re very approachable and will always try to help in any way that we can, we won’t take over and dictate, we’ll listen to you and your needs and advise where necessary.
